There are a couple of ways to handle devices and data ownership in Link-Live. If you are not concerned with retaining existing data from the account, you can just claim the unit into any other account. You will get a notification that the unit is already claimed but you can just click "Claim Anyway" and the unit will then show up in your list of devices. If you are concerned with retaining the data, please follow the applicable scenario below.
Scenario: The owner of the organization has transferred to another department. Please contact the owner and provide the instructions below.
Scenario : You would like to change ownership of your organization to another person/email account. Please follow the instructions below.
1. A Link-Live account must exist for the email address that you would like to transfer ownership to. If the account does not exist, please have the user create an account in Link-Live and activate it.
2. Click the person icon in the upper right and go to Manage Organizations.
3. Click the applicable organization and click Invite.
4. Type the email address for the account you would like to transfer ownership to and click Send Invitations.
5. The user will need to accept the invite to your organization.
6. You will then see the user listed with an option to transfer ownership. Click to transfer.
7. The user will now show as owner of the organization.
