Typical battery life for the EtherScope nXG and the CyberScope from a full charge with all hardware powered on during testing is expected to be 3-4 hours. This time can be extended to 8 or more hours if the wired test port is disabled. The wired test port can be disabled or enabled using the following steps:

1. From the Home screen, open the Link-Live app.
2. Select the upper left menu option (three stacked lines).
3. Select General Settings.
4. Scroll to the 'Wired' section and toggle the 'Use Wired test port' option.

A message will be shown stating the tester will reboot to change the power state for the port after leaving the menu screen. Tapping any of the Android navigation options will initiate the reboot.

Using a 45W USB-C charger with DC output power of 15V (3A) will charge the battery in 2-4 hours (NetAlly supplied charger is recommended). The power button LED will be red while charging, and turn off when fully charged.

Information on the battery, charger, and other device hardware can be found in the EtherScope nXG or CyberScope user guides in the Specifications and Compliance section.
