Updating Firmware (LinkRunner AT 1000/2000)

To update, you must have a valid AllyCare support contract on your unit. To prevent problems caused by losing power during a software update, make sure your unit is fully charged before proceeding.

Updating Software via Link-Live
The LinkRunner AT 1000/2000 cannot be updated via the Link-Live Cloud Service. However, to use the Link-Live cloud service for posting data results, the unit must be on version 2.4.3 or later and claimed.

LinkRunner AT Manager Software Installation
The LinkRunner AT Manager software is available for download via your Link-Live account.  To download:

  1. Log in to your Link-Live account.
  2. From the Options menu, expand the Support option and select the Software Downloads option. 
  3. Click on the LinkRunner AT Manager button to download. 
  4. Install this application on your computer and connect the LinkRunner AT via the cable provided with the unit. 

 

LinkRunner AT Firmware Update

  1. Launch the LinkRunner AT manager software and click TOOLS.
  2. Select Update Firmware.
  3. Click SELECT and browse for the firmware file.
  4. Follow the on-screen directions and keep in mind that the update can take about 5 minutes.

Please note: The unit will reboot the first time, keep the unit connected to your PC - do not remove the cable until instructed. It will continue to update and then reboot again at which point you will get a notification to remove the USB cable.
