These preferred 802.11ac adapters are available for use with AirMagnet Survey PRO:

• Proxim Orinoco 9100

The drivers for these adapters are located in your My AirMagnet account under Documents/Drivers. 

The drivers are also available locally after you have installed the product:
C:\Program Files (x86)\AirMagnet Inc\AirMagnet Surveyor\NTCTUSBDriverInstaller\setup.exe

The drivers for the new adapters can been found inside the AirMagnet Survey and WiFi Analyzer installation directories:

These adapters offer the full feature set of AirMagnet SurveyPRO, and are considered to be preferred adapters, with the following exceptions:

1. These adapters will not report noise or SNR due to limitations set by the manufacturer,
2. PHY Data Rate Up is not available for an Active survey, PHY Data Rate Down is provided instead.
3. Regardless of the USB port's speed, the adapters will operate in 2.0 mode.

Please use Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise 64-bit for these adapters with AirMagnet WiFi Analyzer or Spectrum XT.  The new adapters will not be recognized properly by AirMagnet WiFi Analyzer or Spectrum XT in a Windows 7 64-bit OS.  AirMagnet Survey will support these adapters on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 Pro or Enterprise, 64-bit.
