Restore Factory Defaults (Onetouch AT)

Resetting factory defaults erases all user data and restores the OneTouch AT back to its factory settings.

User Data:

  • Profiles
  • Authentication credentials
  • Test results
  • Screen Captures
  • Reports

Factory defaults:

  • Number formats
  • Length Units
  • Backlight 
  • Power down timeout periods

Full Option:  This option should be used when security is of concern and you must be certain all user data is securely erased.  This option may take as long as 30 minutes to complete.  This option will rewrites internal persistent memory in order to prevent recovering data.

Quick Option: Typically completes within 2 minutes.

NOTE:  Data stored on the SD card will not be erased when choosing either option.

Procedure:

  1. Connect your OneTouch AT to its provided AC Power Adapter.
  2. On the HOME screen tap TOOLS
  3. Scroll down to the Maintenance Tools section
  4. Tap Factory Defaults
  5. Tap either Quick or Full

NOTE: It is important not to interrupt the process once in progress.
