The EtherScope nXG might exhibit the following behaviors when trying to power the unit on, while it is plugged in for charging:

1. If charging, pressing the power button will show the battery level temporarily and then go back to charging. The unit will not fully power on.
2. If fully charged, pressing the power button will show the battery level and if fully charged it will power off.

To power the unit on, try one of two things:

1. Press and hold the power button longer, in order to boot into normal mode.
2. Unplug from the power outlet and press the power button to boot into normal mode.
3. Press the power button a second time to power on.
